Signs Dorothy is Getting Better…
Though it’s been a bit of a roller-coaster ride, Dorothy is improving daily. She told me today she was “lectured” for getting out of bed without assistance. She assured me she was using her reading table (which, incidentally, has wheels on it) for support.
She also called to tell me I should just plan to spend the night on Tuesday, She explained she can’t leave the hospital until we take care of the paperwork, and if I spent the night I could start earlier. She promised she wouldn’t talk through American Idol, even though she’d “…been lonely lately and needed some company”.
So, not to say she’s in charge or anything, I may - repeat MAY - take a razor when I go there on Tuesday.

Putting 2 & 2 together, I suppose we’ll see you back at work sometime after Wednesday. Keep being the husband your bride needs you to be.

Glad to hear she’s still on track to head back home! Although I’m sure it will be trying…I’m also sure it’ll also have some relief in there, too. Tell Dorothy I am praying for her!
And…OH…an overnight stay…taking just a razor? You are such a guy! LOL

Are you guys riding bikes on the way home? Just kidding. This time next year you both will reflect back and marvel at His faithfulness to every detail. I love the fact God never does anything have way.
Love you both deeply,
Van

Hi Aunt Dorothy,
I am so glad you get to go home. I have been praying for a fast recovery for you and so has all my coworkers. Maybe as soon as you get home and get a lot more rest. God will have you back to your old self sooner than later.
Love you both
Amber
